Professional Shed Pad Installation Services

At Ethan’s Excavating we offer professionally installed shed pads across West Michigan. Our process begins by removing and hauling off the sod and topsoil in the area where the shed is to be placed. Then we spread, laser level, and compact the base material.

Why Chips and Dust? We often receive questions regarding our choice to use chips and dust as the base material, but to put it simply, chips and dust is the best material we have found to create a solid and level base. Unlike crushed concrete, gravel, or other types of crushed stone, the fine material (dust) does not separate from the aggregate (chips) during the leveling process. This means that after your pad is level we are able to compact it into a firm base for your new shed. The larger aggregate found in crushed concrete or gravel can also make it difficult to properly level such small pads.

Worried about your lawn? We use a tractor with turf tires to ensure that we cause minimal disturbance to your lawn. Please note that we will need at least 7 feet of width through a fence or between other obstacles for our equipment.

Why choose Ethan’s Excavating? We pride ourselves on communication with our customers, quick turn around on price quotes, and a professional quality of workmanship. Check out the numerous five star reviews we have on both Google and our website!

Do you have an old shed that needs to be removed? We commonly demolish and dispose of old sheds for customers before installing a new shed pad. If you have an old shed that you need to get rid of, be sure to let us know!
